Our farm

I’m Danielle! My husband, Yanick and I operate a grain and flower farm in Sturgeon County, AB.

We are the fourth generation to farm this land, and we live on the original homestead. The first generation planted their roots here in 1935!

In 2021, we planted thousands of peonies, and this winter, we built a greenhouse to grow even more varieties. I am excited to offer flowers that are fresher, more affordable, and better for the environment than the imported options.

Currently, we have over 33 varieties of peonies growing. In our greenhouse, we are growing lilies, dahlias, and gladiolus.

About Danielle

Life’s a journey, here’s mine!

I have a background in teaching, and I love it! I even have my Master’s in Education.

My husband and I got married the DAY before the Pandemic started.

I have twin daughters, and I refer to them as “the interns,” and they are so helpful (most of the time).

I wasn’t a huge flower person before this venture… in fact, my wedding bouquet was 3 white flowers, but it’s easy to fall in love with growing flowers. I highly recommend!
